FRequently Asked Questions

  • Our shop minimum is $150. Final pricing is based on your tattoo size, placement, complexity, and artist skill level. After an initial complimentary 15min consultation with your chosen artist, they will provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.

  • We take walk-ins every Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 6pm with extended hours during our flash day events. Feel free to call ahead at 206-535-6069 to ensure availability that day.

  • Check out our artists’ portfolios and social media accounts to find one that best fits the style you want. You're also welcome to give us a call or come into the shop to ask any questions you may have about finding the best artist for you.

  • Once you know who you'd like to work with, reach out to the artist directly or fill out their booking link on this site. They will be in touch to schedule a complimentary consultation to talk through your ideas and provide a price estimate. Consultations are free and generally last about 15 minutes.

Be prepared to pay a deposit when scheduling your tattoo appointment. Deposits range from $25 to a full hour of tattoo time depending on the artist. This lets the artist know that you're serious about the project. All deposits will be deducted from the total cost on the day of the tattoo.

  • Before you step into the tattoo studio, there are several steps you can take to ensure your session goes smoothly:

Hydration: Stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment. Proper hydration helps your skin stay healthy and can make tattooing more comfortable. Drinking plenty of water keeps your skin supple and helps with the healing process afterward.

Prepare Your Skin: Keep your skin healthy by moisturizing regularly in the days leading up to your appointment. Healthy, well-moisturized skin is easier to work on and can result in a smoother tattoo application.

Get Plenty of Rest: A good night's sleep can greatly affect your pain tolerance and overall experience during tattooing. Aim for a full night's rest to ensure you're well-rested and mentally prepared for your appointment.

Eat Well: Eating a balanced meal can help stabilize your blood sugar levels, preventing potential lightheadedness or fainting during the session. Also, avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine—both can increase sensitivity and interfere with the tattoo process.

Wear Comfortable Clothes: Choose clothing that allows easy access to the area where you'll be getting your tattoo. Loose, comfortable attire is ideal, as it can be adjusted to accommodate the tattoo artist's needs.

Bring Snacks, Drinks, and Entertainment:‍ Having food and hydration on hand can be clutch when sitting for longer sessions to keep your blood sugar levels up and better process pain. A book, music, or something to stream videos can also be helpful to get through longer sessions comfortably.

  • Appointments may be changed or cancelled ONCE up to 48 hours in advance with no penalty. Appointments cancelled within 48hrs of the start time or rescheduled more than once will forfeit their deposit.

Deposit amounts are intended to cover the artist's design time and protect them from losing income due to last-minute cancellations. All deposits will be deducted from the total cost on the day of the tattoo.

  • Normal tattoo healing involves swelling, redness, itching, and peeling during the first 1–2 weeks, followed by a dull, "silvery" stage before settling. It takes roughly 3–4 weeksfor the surface to heal, though the deeper layers take up to 6 months. Signs of infection include increasing pain, red streaks, yellow pus, or fever.

Your artist will go over what to expect and how to care for your tattoo. If you have any concerns about your healing process, you can reach us anytime via email or reach out to your artist directly.
